Deborah Suzanne Morrell's Obituary
Suzanne Morrell was born on December 3, 1952 in Dallas, Texas. She is the youngest daughter of Frank Davis Clifton and Naomi Lynelle Moon. Deborah was close to her three stepsisters, Linda Murphy, Catherine Martin, and Cindy Hurst, as well as her stepbrothers,
Barry Chandler and Scott Clifton.
Debbie graduated in 1971 from RL Turner High School in Carrollton, Texas. Debbie worked for the Simmons Company for several years where she met her best friend Brenda Milner. Bo
and Debbie married on January 20, 1979. With the birth of their daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Morrell, Debbie became a homemaker. Debbie
later became the bookkeeper for Morrell Plating and helped run the family business with her husband.
To know Debbie was to love her. The doors of her home were always open, a reflection
of her generous heart. Family, friends, and strangers all tell their stories of times that Debbie allowed them to come live with her, eat at her table, or cry on her couch. Debbie would always point her visitors to faith in God. Debbie was gifted with a huge
“mom” heart. Debbie constantly did things for people, not because they couldn’t do things for themselves -- she celebrated competence -- but because she loved to give.
Debbie is survived by her doting husband of 24 years, Bo, her daughter, Ashley, her father Frank Davis Clifton and stepmother Carol Clifton and her children, stepsister Cindy Hurst and stepbrothers Barry Chandler and Scott Clifton, and numerous nieces, nephews, great
nieces and great nephews whom she dearly loved.
Debbie is preceded in death by her mother Naomi Linnelle Moon and stepsisters Catherine Martin and Linda Murphy.
Debbie will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
