Deborah Annette Rampy was born March 13, 1955, in Beaumont, TX to Dorothy Lois Smitherman and Riley Clifton Davis Jr. Debbie worked at Lone Star Gas for 19 years where she excelled as a measurement analyst. Debbie, her father R. C., and her former husband Richard opened a successful business, Debbie’s Fragrances & Gifts in Garland, and eventually, three additional stores were opened. Debbie’s Fragrances & Gifts remained opened until 2010.Debbie’s main love in life was her family. She has two children Stephanie Anne Blanton and Richard Alexander Herod. Debbie enjoyed taking her children on annual vacations and purchasing a souvenir trivet from each of the places they traveled to. Debbie liked to spend the day shopping and occasionally changing her luck on the slot machines at the casinos. Debbie took pleasure in meeting new people and socializing with old friends.Debbie is survived by her brother Riley Clifton III and wife Lisa Davis, daughter Stephanie Anne and husband Micah Blanton, son Richard Alexander and wife Jennifer Herod. Debbie has four grandchildren Kaitlynn and Andrew Blanton, Alexis and Aidan Herod. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Debbie was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Lois Davis and father Riley Clifton Davis Jr, former husband Richard Jordan Herod and husband Derrel Allen Rampy.Memorial Service to celebrate Debbie’s life will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017, at 12:30 PM in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243, (972-238-7111).
