Debra Ladell Manuel's Obituary
MANUEL, DEBRA LADELL was born August 9, 1957 in Corsicana, Texas to the parents of Dardance (Dan) Brown and Betty Manuel. She was educated in Dallas Public Schools and was a 1976 graduate of North Dallas High School. Debra accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful employee of the United States Postal Service for 26 years. Debra was preceded in death by her father, Dan and grandmother, Penelope Brown; uncle, Charles Brown; sister-in-law, Cyndi Blair. She leaves to cherish her memory, mother, Betty; sister, Jacquelyn and husband, Lonnie; brothers, Dwight, Malcolm, Nikita, Arnold and wife, Beverly; aunts, Billie Jean Peay and Marie English; uncles, Nathan, Michael and wife, Mary Manuel, and Hiawatha Brown; her beloved 28 nieces and nephews and a host of cousins; included special cousin, Marilyn Manuel and her two best friends, Kimetra Lewis and Christopher Swanson. Family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 PM on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at St. Paul Baptist Church in Dallas.
