Debbie’s early years were spent in Oak Cliff, where she attended Kimball High School before going on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Clothing and Textiles from the University of North Texas. After graduation, she began her career as a women’s and children’s clothing designer. Debbie later chose to be home with her children, a role she treasured. When she returned to the workforce, she did so in education, serving at Wallace Elementary in Richardson ISD and later at the Region 10 Education Service Center, where she worked until her retirement. She made her home in Garland, Texas, where she lived much of her life.
Debbie was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend whose life was marked by kindness. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a playful spirit that made being in her presence an absolute joy. She truly brightened the lives of those around her. Above all, Debbie cherished her family, and her love and legacy will continue to live on through her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her son, William Pendleton, and his wife, Laura; her daughter, Lindsey Radford, and her husband, Adam; and her beloved grandchildren: Clara, Wayland, and Wyatt Pendleton, and Cooper, Tucker, and Lucy Radford.
