Dee G. Barnett's Obituary
Barnett, Dee Graham, 81, of Royse City, Texas died January 27, 2018, in Rockwall, Texas. He was born November 29, 1936, in Del Rio, Texas to Minnie Pearl Lowrance and Dee Henderson Barnett.Dee served in the dental division of the Air Force in Chateauroux, France and received an honorable discharge in 1959. He worked for Coca-Cola Southwest until his retirement in 1992. Dee was one of the first patients in DFW area to receive a heart defibrillator in 1992 helping lay the groundwork for cardiac patients thereafter. Dee was an avid reader and enjoyed the farm life. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend.He is survived by his wife, Minnie Nell Barnett; daughter, Deanna Maxey and husband Sean; sister, Dorthy Mendorf and husband Mortiz and their children, Scott and Brenda Menzdorf; granddaughter, Michaela Maxey; grandson, Logan Maxey; nephew, Dr. Douglas Overbeck and wife Shery and their children, Alyssa, John Douglas and Carolyn. He is preceded in death by his son, Mark Anthony Barnett A memorial service for Dee will be on Saturday, February 10th at 3 PM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243.
