Delbert Lee Garrison's Obituary
Delbert Lee Garrison was born on October 24, 1929 in Gainesville, Texas and passed away December 1, 2023 in Rockwall, Texas at the age of 94. Delbert served in the Navy reserves from September 8, 1947, to October 23, 1954 as a Station keeper. Delbert married the love of his life, Pearl Lenora Arp on September 10, 1949.
Delbert had many hobbies, horseless carriage club, antique cars, cigars, football, basketball and bowling but will be most remembered by his love in helping enrich the lives of others.
Delbert was proceeded in death by his parents, Ira Glenn and Nannie Betty Garrison- wife, Pearl Lenora Arp; brothers- Ira Glenn Garrison Jr., Earl Ray Garrison; twin-sister- Delorse Brisendine, sister- Louise Linskey and grandson- Bryan Davis.
He is survived by his three daughters- Shirley Diane Griffin, Nancy Joan Davis, Judith Elaine Roberts; grandsons- William (Billy) Waldrop, Jerry Paul Roberts III, Jeff Bobo, Chris Davis, Greg Griffin, Kirk Griffin; son-in-laws- Jerry Paul Roberts, Jr., Charles Davis; great-grandsons- Cody Waldrop, Shane Waldrop, Everett Roberts, Kian Roberts, Hayden Griffin; great-granddaughters- Kaylee Griffin, Mattie Griffin; great-great-granddaughters- Dawnlee Waldrop and Blake Manson.
