Deloris Burris Taylor's Obituary
TAYLOR, DEBE received her angel wings and flew to Heaven early on Christmas Eve morning following a stroke during the night. She joined her parents, Clark and Dorothy Burris, her sister, Charlene Burris Cook, her daughter, Janet Taylor Pattterson, and her best friend of many years, Bob Hagin. Deloris Burris Taylor was born on March 29, 1923 in Des Moines, Iowa. She moved to Dallas with her parents and sister as a young girl and remained a life-long resident. She deeply loved her family and many friends. Survivors include her sons, A. Starke (Tracy) Taylor, III and wife, Diane and Charles Taylor and wife, Cyndi. She is also survived by grandchildren: Tracey Taylor Frattaroli and husband Christopher, A. Starke Taylor IV and wife, Elizabeth, Christie Taylor Riley and husband, Tommie, Daniel Taylor and wife, Courtney, Mary Taylor Springer and husband, Tim, Leigh Taylor Cooper and husband Braxton, Clare Taylor and Clay Taylor. She is also survived by great-grandchildren: Caroline Frattaroli, Elena Frattaroli, Marina Frattaroli, Lauren Taylor, A. Starke Taylor V, Sarah Shillig, Chandler Shillig, Trace Riley, Philip Taylor, Henry Springer, Micah Cooper and Maggie Cooper. There will be a private family service at Restland on Monday, December 30, 2013. If you choose to honor Debe with a memorial gift, the family requests donations be made to the SPCA because of her love of dogs and cats or the Junior League of Dallas Community Service Fund, 8003 Inwood Road, Dallas, Texas 75209.
