Delton Paul Potts, 60, born August 3, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday August 17, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. Delton is preceded in death by his parents Rev. Troy C. Potts and Nina Potts and brother Troy C. Potts II. Delton is survived by sisters; Vera McCreary and Millie Highfill, daughters; Chandra Potts, Jessica Potts and Samantha Potts, grandchildren; Daniel, Jazmyne, Eva and Ronnie as well as a host of loving friends. In lieu of flowers, The Potts family request donations be made to The Del Potts Sound System Fund, 1529 E. Hebron Parkway, Carrollton, TX 75010. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday August 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Carrollton Church of the Nazarene, 1529 E. Hebron Parkway, Carrollton, TX 75010, visitation will be held just prior to the funeral service from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the church. A private burial will take place following the services at Restland Memorial Cemetery.
