DeNettera Brouschea Quintanilla's Obituary
DeNettera Brouschea Quintanilla was born August 7, 1971 in Oakland, California. DeNettera passed away on May 11, 2017 at her home in Dallas after a long illness with diabetes and kidney disease. DeNettera loved her fur children CHOODLES and DIVA. Her life was so enriched for the love she had for her animals. She enjoyed as a young girl playing with a cash register, the family always thought she would go into banking as this consumed her interest. She enjoyed baking prior to her illness and after her health declined she enjoyed relaxing and coloring. DeNettera was a very strong and loving young woman, she faced many trials and issues with her health but remained positive and cheerful. DeNettera always spoke of how grateful she was because others had it worse than she did. She remained focused to beat the disease and share life to the fullest. DeNettera is preceded in death by her mother Rae Elizabeth Dedrick and an uncle, Bobby Saunders both to complications with diabetes, she is survived by her life long partner of 24 years, Sergio Herrera, her father Robert J. Dedrick and wife Lucy Dedrick of Smyrna, Delaware, brother Dan Saunders of McKinney, TX, an uncle Bill Cole of Olathe, KS and an aunt, Katherine Cole-Esparza of Silver Lake, KS and other family members. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to The National Kidney Foundation or The American Diabetes Foundation in memory of DeNettera Brouschea Quintanilla A reception will be held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
