Dennis N. Cowley's Obituary
COWLEY, DENNIS, 70, of Radcliff, KY went to be with our lord on February 21, 2014 in Plano, TX. He was born on July 16, 1943 in Lawton, OK to the late, Marion Cowley. After HS, Dennis joined the US Air Force in the Defense Engineering Corps. He was a meritorious Vietnam veteran, who was injured during duty. Dennis later went on to graduate from Cameron University in Lawton, OK. He worked for civil service for 34 years and finally retired in 2011. Dennis served the lord in many ways. He was a First Baptist Church Dallas member. He served as a video and radio (KCBI) engineer for the ministry there. Dennis found his love, Anita, through the singles ministry and they shared an incredible and loving marriage for 36 years until his unexpected departure to the Lord’s Heavenly Gates. Dennis is survived by his wife, Anita Cowley; son, Sheldon Cowley and wife, Natalie; granddaughters, Madeline and Lillian Cowley; daughter, Rachel Cowley; sister, Linda Dawson, and husband, Bob; aunt, Vivian Crews. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 12:30 PM on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
