I was shocked to learn of Dennis’s passing. He was a dynamic personality who would engage a person at the first moment he met you. He was forceful and dedicated. He was also a nice guy. He would take any new patient and give them a one-on-one assessment and welcome them into the “class.” He was very interested in making sure his patients would recover from the cardiac trauma that they had just been through, and to make sure that it wouldn’t happen again.I am so sad he is gone.
We just found out about Dennis’s passing. Dennis helped my daughter through Cardiac Rehab, but most of all his encouraging words and positive manner. He was very special to both of us and we will never forget him. We were blessed to have known him and we pray for his family to keep him close to their hearts. Dennis touched so many lives including my father-in-law after his CABG. So grateful for his work with our cardiac patients. We will miss his positive spirit & warm smiles!
I knew Dennis when he was a coworker with my late husband Gary Fleming. I loved hearing the funny stories and pranks he was known for. I was the unwitting recipient of a couple of phone pranks that I fell for hook, line and sinker! I smile as I think of them today. I was also told many stories of his impressive skills as a musician. I know he was loved by all that knew him and he will be missed.

Dennis was a good friend as well as a respected co-worker of mine for over 35 years. We often attended CEU classes together and shared a mutual interest in good music and the guitar. He was always interesting to talk to and often had time to share stories and current events. He was loved by patients and employees as well. He will be greatly missed and will leave a large void in the Cardiac Rehab Dept. I visited with him just a week before his death and he was cheerful and as friendly as ever and there was no indication of a health problem. Goodbye good friend.
