I woke up this morning to the news that a dear friend, Mentor, my 1st boss out of high school, I worked for him 9 years…passed away yesterday. It has been a long time since I worked for him but we were very good friends and with Vivian Abrams, they always called before my surgeries, kept in touch on face book every year at Christmas they sent me a picture letter keeping me updated. I love them both very much. I will miss Dr.Shaw (I always called him that). I even babysat Stacey and David. I am so sad to loose the man that taught me alot about Podiatry, and was my friend. He loved them Yankees!!!!! I even helped him sell baseball cards….I miss you.??
Michelle called and told me the sad news. Dr. Abrams please know that you will be in my prayers.

I am lost for words on Dennis’s passing. I lost a good friend, big brother and the best Yankee coach ever. It was great to spend the last few days with Dennis to see him smile and laugh but we always made each other laugh about the silleist things. I know everytime Hank or I would go over to the house Dennis would always be on the couch watching 3 or 4 tv’s at the same time, and aiways he never had a shirt on. lol -:) There is so much to say about Dennis after knowing him and his family for over the past 20 years + I would be writing all day. Dennis I love you, I will miss You, and one day I hope we meet again.

You were more than just my dad, you were my best friend. The last few days have been the toughest of my life and I know I speak for the family when I say that. You were always there for us and were an excellent father/role model on what it means to be a husband/father. You were loved by so many and to see the outpouring of comments and guys coming to visit you in the hospital showed how many guys that really loved you. I am so heartbroken knowing that we have watched our last Yankee game together, there wont be any more trips to the pizza parlor at halftime of the football games, and that we wont ever be able to have a catch or go hit together. Please watch over all of us and know how much we all loved you. It tears me up knowing that you will not be here to watch your grandchildren grow up but I am so very thankful for our time together and I wanted to let you know how much I really loved you.
