Dennis R. Watson's Obituary
Born October 27, 1925 in Dallas, Texas and passed away February 20, 2015 in Grapevine, Texas. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Winnie Hamlin Watson; his mother, Emma Leona Whitcher Watson Fox; his father, John Foster Watson; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Dennis is survived by his two daughters: Mary Watson Bryant of Heath, Texas; and Sharon Watson Geisler of Roanoke, Texas; his two sons-in-law: Mike Bryant and Rodney Geisler; and his four grandchildrren: Justin Bryant, Ryan Geisler, Russell Geisler, and Shannon Geisler. Dennis R. Watson was a radio operator in the U.S. Army on a navy ship during WWII. He was an electrical engineer by profession and worked for many years at Texas Instruments and Texas Power and Light Company. He will be remembered as a faithful husband, a loving father, and a thoughtful grandfather. Dennis’s family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. Service for Dennis will take place at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
