DeNola May Towers' Obituary
TOWERS, DENOLA MAY HOWETH “GRANNY” born to D.B. and Frona Proffitt Howeth on December 7, 1918 in Paris, TX. She went to be with her Lord on November 15, 2012. She married Delbert D. Towers on May 29, 1937. They were married 59 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert; brothers, Johnnie Driver and D.B. Howeth, Jr.; sisters, Zona Bell Stephenson, Genevra Barnett and Elizabeth Towers. DeNola’s legacy will live on through her sons, Delbert D. Towers, Jr. of Princeton, TX , Noel A. Jack Towers and wife, Mary of Sulphur Springs, TX; 6 grandchildren: Darrin Towers and wife, Lois, Richard Andrew Towers and wife, Tracy, Heather Smith and husband, Jeffrey, Jennifer Brewer and husband, Brad, Michael Wolfe and Kathy Barnett; 8 great grandchildren: Randy, Savannah, Brock, Noah, Lukas, Meredith, Ethan Jack and Elijah; daughters-in-law, Karla and Carole; sisters, Lois Nicholson, Milie Nicholson and Mildred Gardner and numerous nephews and nieces. She was a member of Richardson East Church of Christ since 1963. She taught 2nd grade for 21 years in the Richardson ISD. Graveside service will be held at Meadow Gardens Cemetery in Paris, TX, Saturday, November 17 at 1:00PM. A memorial celebration will be Sunday, November 18 at 3:00PM at Richardson East Church of Christ, 1504 E. Campbell, Richardson, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Care Corps at Richardson East Church of Christ.
