Denward Blease Roach Sr., 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2020, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on June 23, 1933, to his loving and thoughtful parents, Hulen Roach and Adair Smith-Roach in Dallas, Texas. Denward Blease Roach Sr. will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.
He married Faye Stanfield on April 5, 1952 in Dallas, TX. He was a Master Electrician 45 years and retired C65. He was a member of Masons/Electrical I.B.EW. He served in the Navy as a Chief Petty Officer.
He is survived wife Faye Roach, daughter Cynthia Roach York, granddaughter Jennifer York, daughter-in-law Denise Roach, great granddaughter Amelia "Mic" York, sister Laneigh Johnston, Dallas, TX, sister-in-law Dorothy Compton, son Denward B. Roach, Jr., grandson Michael Blake York, son-in-law Don Watts, grandson Brandon Roach.
Visitation for Denward Blease Roach Sr. will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 12:00 PM in the Memorial Park at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.
