Derry was a lot of fun! I always knew at any gathering I could sit with Derry and we’d have a good time. His love for Lily and all his grandchildren was deep and true. Every time Lily got to stay at Papa Derry & Granny Jan’s house, we knew she’d be smiling and laughing and happy the whole time. Sending Jan and the whole family heaps of love and peace today and always. Rest easy, Derry.
Dad was an awesome father, friend and person. The world is smaller now. I learned lots of things from him. He was a caring husband to mom and a teacher/ care giver/ compassionate father that any one would wish for. I love him forever.
