Devinder Kaur, 79, of Kurali, Punjab, India passed away on August 11, 2019 in Garland, Texas, United States. She was born on November 25, 1939 to Harkishen Singh and Bakhshish Kaur in Mansooran, Punjab, India. She married Professor Ajit Singh Bains on October 4, 1960 in Khanna, Punjab, India.For 37 years, she was a beloved teacher of arts and crafts and Punjabi language at, among elsewhere, Government Senior Secondary School in Kandghat, Himachal Pradesh, India.She is survived by, among others, her husband Professor Ajit Singh Bains of Kurali, Punjab, India; her daughter Hardeep Malhi and son Sandeep Bains, both of Garland, Texas, United States; and her brother Mohinder Singh Gill and sister Jaswinder Kaur, both of Khanna, Punjab, India.Her legacy of courageousness, compassion, and candidness endures in all those who knew her.Waheguru mehr kare!
