Diana L. Gentry Bauske's Obituary
Diana L. Gentry Bauske, born Oct. 3, 1945, to Bryan and Ressie Gentry in Spiro, OK., lost her brave battle with cancer at 2:32 pm on Sept. 19, 2014. Preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Gene Bauske; her parents; sister M. Sue Harrison and brother Frank Gentry. She is survived by 2 daughters, Lori and Alyssa of Dallas, TX; granddaughter Alia of Dallas, TX; sister Loretta and Galen Sullins of Spiro, OK; 3 brothers John and Freda Gentry of Marshfield, MO, Ken and Jan Gentry of Bixby, OK and Fred Gentry of Plano, TX; brother-in-law, Othel Harrison of Acroma, OK; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. She Accepted Christ as her savior in her youth and was a member of Garland First Baptist Church. Diana began her career as a well-loved educator in Houston, TX, and in the RISD of Richardson, TX. As the owner of Chem Chek Co., Inc, she was a pioneer in, and highly respected member of the drug and alcohol testing industry. She was a founding member of DATIA and served on the board several times. Viewing will be at Restland Funeral Home, Dallas, Mon. Sept. 22 from 6-8pm. Services will be held at the First Baptist Church, Garland, TX, Tuesday Sept. 23 at 1pm and burial services will be Wed. Sept 24 at 1pm at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, OK. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.
