Diane Margaret Arnold's Obituary
Diane Margaret Arnold, age 80, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2019, in Plano, Texas. She was born in Flint, Michigan. Diane graduated from Holy Redeemer High School (where she was valedictorian) and St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. Diane was a court reporter scopist and lived in New York City for more than 40 years before relocating to Texas. She was the loving mother of son, Jorge A. Fernandez-Romero, and daughters, Teresa E.F. Romero (partner Steve Hoad) and Laura R. Kogan (Craig); and grandmother of Emma and Andrew Kogan. Diane is survived by her siblings David Arnold (Barb), Jim Arnold (Marion), Sally Worden (Dennis), and Jerry Arnold (Tina). She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Howard and Gertrude Arnold, sisters Lynn Gearhart and Robin Arnold-Williams (John Williams), and grandson Rowan William Finnie (son of Teresa E.F. Romero and David Finnie). A private graveside funeral for family members was held on April 26 at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery. A celebration of Diane’s life will be held at Brookdale Collin Oaks Assisted Living, her home for the past almost ten years.
