DICKSON, DIANE born September 18, 1941 in Dallas, TX and passed away April 10, 2013 in Garland, TX. Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Betty Waggoner; husband, James Dickson. Diane is survived by daughter, Lori McElyea; sons, Chris Dickson and wife, Jennifer, Jimmy Dickson; grandchildren, Michael Durham and Chanel Starling; brother, Tom Waggoner and wife, Cheryl; niece, Katie Waggoner; nephew, Zach Waggoner. Diane spent majority of her teaching career of 35 years teaching Texas History. Fan of Texas Longhorns and Texas Rangers. She dearly loved her 2 chihuahuas, Sparky and Pepper. Service will be held Monday, April 15, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Restland Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association and WWW.besteducationfoundation.org/indaasp.
