Diane Taylor's Obituary
Diane Elizabeth Taylor passed away of natural causes on October 2, 2011. Diane was born on the Loring Air Force Base in Limestone, Maine to James “Rip” and Betty Taylor on September 19, 1957. She was preceded in death by father, mother, and brother, Rip Taylor. She is survived by her niece, Sarah Taylor, her family of cats, and her chosen family of neighbors. Diane lived her life to the fullest. She grew up in Bonham, Texas where she was surrounded by a large and loving extended family. She graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in fashion merchandising. She worked as a sales executive for numerous greeting card companies, included American Greetings. In her spare time she enjoyed scuba diving, world travel, and spending time with her many close neighborhood friends. Diane was also a generous volunteer to her neighborhood association and was the consummate hostess to friends and family who would often gather at Diane’s Dallas home. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to MD Anderson hospital or the Dallas SPCA. Funeral services will be held at the Restland Funeral Home, Wildwood Chapel, in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday October 5th at 12:30pm, with a graveside service immediately following in Bonham, Texas.
