Dianne Marie Leigh, 73 , of Lucas, Texas died March 4, 2020 in Lucas, Texas. She was born November 21, 1946, to Leo Morrison and Helen Morrison in Little Rock, Arkansas. She married Stephen Leigh on May 21, 1976 in Lancaster, Texas. She was a bookkeeper and property manager for over 30 years.
She is survived by spouse Stephen Leigh, Lucas, Texas, daughters Angela Kay Leigh, Garland, Texas, Kathleen Dee Phillips, Prosper, Texas, Natalie Helen Aguilar, Anna, Texas, sons Dart Leigh, Longview, Texas, Gregory Leigh, Richardson, Texas, sisters Nancy Greening, Trophy Club, Texas, Chrissy Mosley, Midlothian, Texas, Linda Brown, Morgan, Texas, Anne Higginbotham, Valley Mills, Texas, Marilyn Kovar, Red Oak, Texas, brothers David Morrison, Port St. Lucie, Florida, Patrick Morrison, Red Oak, Texas, 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
Dianne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She will forever be an amazing woman to all who met her. She never failed to pray for any of her loved ones, she loved God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and she always relied on their power at all times. Her family, friends and all of the peoples’ lives she never knew she touched will miss her beyond any words that can express her absence on Earth. Her loved ones are comforted in knowing she is at peace in Heaven with the angels, family, and friends. Her services will be held at Restland Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 8th from 2-4 pm and the service will be held Monday, March 9th at Wildwood Chapel at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Feed the Children or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, charities she held close to her heart.
