Dickie Joe Stewart, 82, passed away August 5, 2020 in Dallas, TX. He was born February 20, 1938 to parents Cecil Stewart Sr. and Lela Stewart in Paris, TX. He married Jimmie Layfield on March 1, 1963 in Dallas, TX. He was employed 42 years with Sears Roebuck. He served in the US Army from 1961 - 1965 as a Seargent.
He is survived by spouse Jimmie Nell Stewart, Mesquite, TX, son Chad Alan Stewart and wife Marla Stewart of Sunnyvale, TX, sister Lou Barlett, Midlothian, TX, brother Donnie Stricklin, Waxahachie, TX, 2 grandchildren Paige Stewart and Megan Stewart.
He was preceded in death by parents and brother Cecil Stewart Jr.
