One of the greatest of God’s genuine Servants: Brother Dickson Rial. On March 19, 1964, I was baptized by this kind man after I had accepted Christ Jesus as my Savior and Lord in the early winter of 1963. Back then, at Orchard Hills Baptist Church, youth were required to attend a Bible study to help us understand our decision to follow Christ. Dickson Rial himself taught it for 2 months. Hence, my baptism on March 19, 1964. What set Dickson Rial apart was his steadfast love of Jesus, his unfailing heart to spread the Gospel and his uncanny ability to understand sin as not only destructive but if one repents of it, God gives you His Love and Compassion to be forgiven. I am so thankful that God allowed me to reconnect with him last year to tell him face to face how much his Biblical words and teachings encouraged me to follow, serve and love Christ Jesus. Enjoy Heaven, Brother Rial! You are so deserving!
