Dilcie Ruth Killingworth Fleming was born July 29, 1930 and was called home to the Lord on August 23, 2019. Born in Longview, Texas to James W. and Margaret C. Killingsworth, she graduated from Longview High School and later attended Kilgore College where she was a Kilgore Rangerette under the direction of famed Gussie Nell Davis.Dilcie was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life Jean W. Fleming to whom she was married from 1949 until his death in 1982 and her younger sister JoAnn. She is survived by her son Scott Fleming and daughter-in-law Cindy, daughter Patti Enoch and son-in-law Mark, grand-children John Scott Fleming and wife Miranda, Stephanie McFarland and husband D’Mitri, Zach Fleming, Matt, Emily and Preston Enoch and twelve-and soon to be thirteen great-grand-children to all of whom she was lovingly known as Nanny.Never a loner, after Jean’s passing, Nanny devoted the remainder of her life to her family; baby-sitting her grand-children, great-grand-children, and grand dogs. Her greatest joys were family get-togethers, the last one being her 89th birthday party.A funeral service for Ms. Dilcie Fleming will take place on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
