Doak was one of the few people who was nice just for the sake of being nice. Whenever he asked how you were or how your day was, he genuinely cared. I'm shocked to hear of his passing and my thoughts and prayers go to his family.

I am so sad. I loved Doak, he made me laugh and was always nice to me. Praying for the family.
I worked with Doak for years. He was a pleasure to know. I am saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences to the family and everyone that ever had the pleasure of knowing him. If I had known, I would have paid my respects in person.
May you be comforted by God's promises! And your memories of Doak bring you comfort as you reflect upon the joy that you have shared! God's Blessings! -Elaine Ricklefs

I am Doak's oldest sister, Dianne. I was twelve years old when Doak was born and so excited! I wrote an entire song for him to the tune of Davey Crockett, a popular song at that time. Unforunately, I can only remember the very first verse…..which was "Doaky, Doaky Davis…King of Baby Land". I have to admit I was disappointed that he slept so much and didn't play like I had planned!!! I had fun times with him and Donna and Davey. It is a comfort to me to know that he will no longer be in pain in Heaven. We love you, Doak!!
My love, my sweet. Only God has the plan, so I just wantd you to know, you are and always will be in my heart forever. The time we had together, I will cheerish and I will never forget every moment we shared. I am blessed to even have ever met you. You brightened so many lives you don't even know. You have such a wonderful family to help me through this time of need, and you are part of thier life as well, I pray I do the same for them. You are the world to me. I love you more, I miss you so dearly.
