Dolores Stracener Haney's Obituary
Haney, Dolores Stracener of Garland, born October 17, 1936 in Mount Pleasant to the late Alford and Bonnie Stracener, passed away in Dallas on Friday June 27, 2008. She received her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of North Texas in 1959, and taught for the Midland and Carrolton-Farmers Branch school districts. A long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Richardson, she is survived by her husband of 47 years Jack, her sons Jason of Harrisonburg, VA, and Aaron of Sunnyvale, CA, her grandson Clay, her brother Boyd Stracener and his wife Joann of Mount Pleasant, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday July 2, 2008 at the First Presbyterian Church located at 319 La Salle Drive in Richardson, TX. Interment will be at Nevill’s Chapel Cemetary in Mount Pleasant; arrangements are pending. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the First Presbyterian Church of Richardson, TX.
