Dolores Koper's Obituary
Dolores Sophia Anamaria (Mesolella) Koper, 94, of Richardson, Texas passed away on December 27, 2023 at home with her family.
Dolores was born on October 30, 1929 in Wilks Barre, Pennsylvania to Emilio Mesolella and Rose Marie (Serafini) Mesolella. She was the oldest of three girls. She graduated from Wyoming Memorial High School. After high school she went to Traphagen School of Fashion in New York City where she studied her love of fashion.
Dolores married Walter (Walt) Koper at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in New York City. They were married for 72 years.
In August 1963 she moved to Richardson, Texas with her husband and 4 children. She was a manager for the alterations department for Titches, Lord & Taylor and Neiman Marcus. She ran horse stables for many years until she got her dream of owning land for her horses. She was an extraordinary talented seamstress, taylor and stylist. She exceeded in amazing design skills of inside and outside of the home. She was very out going in getting donations for organizations like 4H, Horse Congres and Schoenstatt. She was a parishioner of All Saints Catholic Church. Where she was a member of the Schoenstatt. She had 2 great grandsons Drake and Kane that she loved dearly and was so proud of. She lit up whenever they came to visit.
Dolores is survived by her husband Walt Koper and children Walter Koper Jr., Sharon Koper(Charles) Debbie Koper(Cleal) and Mark Koper, grandson John McWilliams (Lana) great grandsons Drake McWilliams and Kane McWilliams. Sister Ann Marie Ciampi and many nieces and nephews.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Nancy Joy Feola and Charles Chambers.
