Mrs. Dolores Chavez Rico, age 86, passed away peacefully at 10:40 PM on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Baylor Scott &White in Sunnyvale, Texas. She was born on Monday, November 2, 1931, to Valentin Chavez and Carmen Aguilar in Nuevo Laredo, Tamps, Mexico. Dolores is preceded in death by her husband, Adislado Rico and her daughter, Martha Garcia. She was a housewife and care taker of her beloved children. Dolores was a devoted member of The Divine Mercy of Our Lord. She is survived by her daughters, Dolores Garza, and Ana Davila; sons, Edwardo Rico, Robert Rico and David Rico; 23 grandchildren and 30 plus great grandchildren.A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Divine Mercy of Our Lord.The Funeral Mass for Mrs. Dolores Chavez Rico will be at 12 pm on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Divine Mercy of Our Lord with interment to follow at Restland Cemetery.Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Dolores Chavez Rico have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
