I
I met Delores when her beautiful daughter was born. We became instant friends. Even though we only seen each other a handful of times over the last 38 years our friendship has grown. Over those years she and Iana have sent cards and/or called or texted every year on my birthday, Christmas, and Mother’s Day as well as some other occasions. She even remembered my wedding anniversary. From the time Iana was born Delores called me “Mama #2”. That title has remained. Iana still calls me “Mama #2”.
I’m so happy that I had a chance to visit Delores about a year ago. She will be missed but it’s wonderful knowing that such a kind, caring Christian woman is now with God in heaven.
"They that dwell in the secret place of the most high, shall abide in the shadow of the almighty." I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God in him will I trust." Psalm 91:1-2

Dolo. You are free. I will slways remenber when you first came to see about me and cooked me a meal. I know that you are in Heaven, a much happier place. Love you always.

I'm so sorry to hear this. From the profession of your faith, you are with Jesus now & from what you are experiencing in your forever home, no way would you want to come back here. You're free now & in Jesus care. I will see you one day too. LOVE YOU Do Lo. From Rose Nabors.

I met Dolo over 40 years ago at the FL Mass Choir ammua retreat in Lake Yale, Fl. We became best friends immediately. We have faced may of life's challenges together. She was a faithful friend. Dolo never met a stranger who never forgot a birthday or an anniversary. She was so special. I will miss this prayer warrior , intercessor friend!

I was so sorry to hear of Dolo's passing. She was my friend and dear classmate. My deepest condolences to Donald and her daughter. I am sure she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace.
Ms. Wade was always a treasure to me. She never forgot about me or my son and I never forgot about her. We shared the joys of life and the grace of God often. She was beloved and her spunk will live on in her dear Iana.
