Don G. Clack's Obituary
CLACK, DON GILBERT age 82, of Garland, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013 in Richardson, Texas. He was born on January 13,1931 in San Antonio to his parents, Ernest Clack and Dorothy Clack. Don was the oldest of four children. He married Doris Clack in 1956 on July 21 and they had two children Larry and Jeannine. Don attended Texas Western College and graduated in 1961 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He served in the Air Force for four years, was a veteran of the Korean War, and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Metal, Korean Svc medal and U.N. Svc medal. He was a current resident of Garland for 50 years. He was employed by E-Systems as an Electrical Engineer for 28 years. Don loved playing with his grandchildren and also enjoyed fishing, camping, and woodworking. Don will be remembered by his loving wife and their children, Larry and his wife Deena Clack, Jeannine Clack and her boyfriend Merwin Loss of Garland, TX. He is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Clack; sister, Dorothy Lynn Clack. Preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Woodhead and his mother and father. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held Monday, October 14, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
