Don T. Griffin's Obituary
GRIFFIN, DON T. Born June 9, 1924 and passed away December 11, 2007. He was a graduate of SMU with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. Mr. Griffin served in the U.S. Army during World War II after enlisting following the attack of Pearl Harbor. Mr. Griffin owned International Yellow Pages Advertising Company for more than 36 years. He went to work everyday until he was 81 years of age. Mr. Griffin is preceded in death by wives; Ellen Jenkins Griffin and Laura Couch Griffin. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Travis Tipton; granddaughter, Brandi Parra and husband Edward; grandson, Ryan Tipton; great-grandson, Julian Conor Parra and step-daughter, Laura Couch. Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 PM, Thursday, December 13, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 3:00 PM, Friday, December 14, 2007 in Restland Abbey Chapel.
