Donal Wilson Loosley's Obituary
Donal Loosley passed away in Dallas, TX April 19, 2016. He was born November 17, 1926 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Edwin H. and Esther C. Loosley. Don graduated from Ponca City High School in 1944, served with U.S. Army Air Corps., then graduated from Oklahoma A&M College in 1951 where he received his degree –B. S. in Mechanical Engineering (Refrigeration Option). He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and remained an active alum until his death. Don married Irene Braden from Ponca City, Oklahoma on September 3, 1949. After graduation from college, they moved from Stillwater, Oklahoma to Grand Prairie, Texas where Don took a job with Carrier Air Conditioning Company. Don continued his HVAC profession holding executive positions in Sam P. Wallace Company, National Mechanical Corp. and Wallace Mechanical Corp. Don was a Professional Engineer, Master Mason and a member of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers. Don enjoyed golf and duplicate bridge. Don & Irene were married 63 years until her passing on June 30, 2012. Don is survived by his son, James Loosley and wife Cheryl, four grandchildren (Jeri, Christy, Braden and Hunter) and four great-grandchildren (Ryan, Avery, Travis & Charlotte). Family will receive friends on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10 AM at Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park. 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
