Mr. Donald W. Brasher's Obituary
BRASHER, DONALD W., born in El Dorado, Arkansas on April 24, 1933 and passed away on June 10, 2007 at his home in Dallas. Don married Charlotte Broach on December 12, 1952 and remained her devoted husband and friend for more than 54 years until he went home to be with the Lord. He is also survived by his son Phil and wife Mary Ann, his son Tim and his wife Jan, his son Mark, grandchildren Chanel, Luke, Nathan and Bo, his brother Russell and his wife Molly, his brother Alan and his wife Mary Ann and several loving nieces and nephews. Don’s career spanned over 35 years in a variety of financial management positions with a major oil company but he will most be remembered as a husband, father, friend and teacher. Don had a great passion for teaching the Bible. Throughout his life he was instrumental in starting and teaching numerous Bible classes at churches in Dallas, Milwaukee and Annandale, Virginia where his job had taken him. Don is dearly loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6-8 pm, Thursday June 14, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, June 15, 2007 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
