Don and I were married 33 years and 3 weeks. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Sue and his youngest brother, Michael. Other than me, he leaves to cherish his memory: brothers: Steve (Mary), Anchorage, James Ronald, Dallas, sister-in-law: Diana Hamilton, Keller, daughter: Lindsey (Jeff), aunt: Edna Spencer, Bessemer, AL. He had nieces, nephews and cousins from Alaska to Alabama. His 2 4-legged girls, Mama and Cissy, are missing their daddy.
I'd like to thank 2 of Don's dear, life-long friends, Glenn Gray and Wayne Marsh. He couldn't love these guys anymore if they were brothers. Regardless of how bad he felt, these wonderful guys always made things better, even if only a short while.
Don loved fishing. It didn't matter if it was deep sea or a local lake, as long as it was fishing. Now that he's with Michael and his dear cousin/friend, David Reagan, there's a lot of fish stories going around.
I will miss him so very much. I have been comforted by the Lord in knowing he is free from pain and will never hurt again.
We are not having a service in the traditional manner. Instead, there will be a Celebration of Life after the holidays. I'll have a posting on Facebook later.
