Donald Kenneth Janes' Obituary
JANES, DONALD After 80 years of a wonderful life on this earth, Don left to join his Heavenly Father in eternal life on 8/15/2007. A native of the Midwest, Dona and his family moved to Richardson in 1961 where he resided until his death. He is survived by his wife, Jeanice, a daughter, three sons, and their families: Kathryn Janes Jinkins and her husband, Jeff, and children, Elizabeth Ariel and William Patrick of Galveston; Thomas and his wife, Cheryl, and their daughters, Merideth Logan and Kaley Erin of Richardson; Philip and his wife, Denise, and atheir children, Jordan Philip, Sarah Catherine and Kyle Hunter of Allen; Mark abd his wife, Tracy, and their son, Aidan Blake of Seldovia, Alaska. He is also survived by his brother, Mel and sister, Janette in Wisconsin and a host of relatives and friends. Our family wishes to extend their thanks to Dr. Jeb Miers who cared for Don for many years with exceptional concern and care. Dr. Gil Kilpatrick, whose expertise was exceeded only by his compassion and to the many healthcare professionals who provided such excellent medical care. In lieu of flowers, Don requested before his death that if desired, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation in honor of Dr. Jeb Miers.
