Donald M. Larson's Obituary
LARSON, DONALD M. Was born on May 15, 1922 to Melvin and Jessie Larson in Colfax, WI. He enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving in World War II during the invasion of Normandy Beach and the Battle of the Bulge under the command of Gen. George Patton. Captain Don Larson was awarded the EAME Service Medal, the Purple Heart, and the Silver and the Bronze Stars for bravery. He graduated from Lawrence University and arrived in Dallas on January 1, 1955. He married Maxine Dickerson on February 11, 1956. After a successful career in sales, he established a Commercial Real Estate firm, expanding into Residential with the assistance of Maxine. At the time of his death, he was still active in the business. Don will be remembered by all who had the honor to know him. He is preceded in death by his wife Maxine and sister Janet. He is survived by his osn, Keith Larson; daughter, Julie Morris and husband Jim; son, Eric Larson; 6 grandchildren, Tracy, Daniel. Kyle, Liz, Joseph, and Hannah; 3 great grandchildren, Leo, Ruth, and Nico. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Restland Abbey Chapel. Interment to follow Restland Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 615 Slaters Lane, P.O.
