Donald Kent Lawrence's Obituary
Lawrence, Donald Kent was born on June 16, 1928 in Coleman, Texas and passed away on May 18, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Marie Lawrence and brother, Frank Lawrence. Donald graduated from University of Texas at Austin in 1953 with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. He worked for Sun Oil Company for 35 years and was very active in the boy scouts and one of his latest loves was Lakeway Estates at Cedar Creek Lake. Donald is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughters, Donna Lawrence and husband, Tim Downing and Debbie Hurley and husband, Ray; grandchildren, Rachel Abbott and husband, Richard, Lea Downing, Rebekah Dalbey and husband, Brett; and Sam Downing. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
