Donald G. Lucas' Obituary
Born August 27, 1936 in Olney, Texas and passed away peaceably surrounded by family on December 23, 2015 in Plano, Texas. He has lived in the Dallas area for the last 40 years. Preceded in his death by his father, Clifford Lucas, his mother, Eula Lewis, and his brother, Richard Lucas. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Karen Lucas, and his sister, JoAnn Williams. He leaves four children: William and Robert Lucas, Cynthia Bubenik, and Debra Artebury. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and 2 nephews. He was retired and enjoyed going to the movies and eating out. He will be greatly missed. Family will receive friends from 5:00-9:00 pm on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Plano. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
