Donald E. Matthews Sr.'s Obituary
Born April 3, 1931 in Dallas, TX and passed away May 1, 2009 in Dallas, TX. Donald worked for many years as a Design Engineer for E. Systems and Raytheon; he was also a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Adaline Matthews; son, David Allen Matthews and daughter, Dana Diane Matthews. Donald is survived by his wife, Darlene Matthews; son, Donald E. Matthews, Jr.; daughter, Linda Louise Hunt; stepchildren, Faye Keller and Yvette Stephenson; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Ron Matthews and several other loving family members. Services will be held at 3:00PM, Monday, May 4, 2009 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00PM, Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home.
