Dave and Steve, I am so sorry to hear about Don. I am in such shock. I know that he is with the rest of our family who have been taken from us and are looking down on us. Don and I played football together at St. Marks. Loved playing pool in his garage and was quite taken by his tapper in the garage fridge. We played many a game of gin rummy in the Student Union Building as we both finished up at SMU. Don was kind enough to be a groomsman in my wedding in 1970. Had lunch a few years back when he was still running Prawnto. Don was truly a gentle giant. Intimidatingly large but as kind a man as you will find. Sad he was taken so early. Don and I hung out a lot together in high school. We played a lot of pool at his house. It was a pleasure to see him at our 50th reunion. I really wanted to talk, but he said parties like that weren't his thing and left early. The last time I had previously seen him was a year or two after graduation. I do feel sadder knowing he is no longer with us and I will never have that chance to really catch up with him. Walt Woerheide

I have played golf with Don for the last three years or so and we rode together 95% of the time so we got to know each other very well and believe me had lots of good times- Don was a fine man and I will treasure his friendship forever , Don kept up with current events and sports, we were always talking Cowboys , Rangers, and of course if you knew Don, he loved his Politics and was very enthused about the recent election. I will miss my golfing buddy dearly wont be the same without his quick wit and wisdom. RIP old friend- Ed Morris.
