Donald Arthur Niermann's Obituary
Don Niermann/AKA/Big Don/Uncle Don was born in Burlington, Wisconsin on August 27, 1936. Shortly after he moved to Wabeno, Wisconsin where his grandfather was the Lutheran Minister. He graduated from Wabeno High School in 1954 and attended the University of Wisconsin. On the 8th of April 1958 he joined the United States Air Force. Don remained in the Air Force until April 7, 1964 and learned his expertise in Information Technology as he liked to say, “Compliments of the USAF”.
Don spent the next 50 years in his given field in Texas, Maine, Massachusetts and Missouri.
Don’s great loves were wood working and the Green Bay Packers and. Not surprising since his home town is in the middle of a National Forrest and the Packers speak for themselves.
Don is survived by his wife Louise Bush Niermann, married December 26, 1970, one daughter Angela, 4 grandchildren, brother John Niermann, sister-in-law Evelyn Grubbs, 3 nieces, 1 nephew and many great nieces and great nephews.
