Donald "Keith" Peck's Obituary
Donald Keith Peck was born in Alexandria, Virginia on July 13, 1968 - and the family returned to Texas prior to his 1st birthday. He passed on Friday, April 28, 2023.
His intellectual abilities were present at the early age of 4 by reading road signs and asking what the big words meant. Testing in his early teens indicated an IQ of 154.
Stubborn from the get go and would not take guff from anyone.
He could master anything and would tackle problems head on. While attending UT Dallas he further developed his natural artistic talent. Several accidents resulted in physical disability and prevented him from completing his college degree.
Preceded in death by his brother William Shawn Peck, Grandparents Owen and Vera Peck, Hazel Ragsdale and Uncle Lloyd Peck.
Survived by his parents Rose Mary Simmons and Donald Ray Peck, Uncle, Bob Peck, Aunt, Eva Peck and numerous cousins.
Our sincere gratitude to the Palative Care Group at Baylor Scott & White Plano for their care. Also, Vitas Hospice group in Carrolton where he was provided professional and compassionate care.
His inurnment will be at Restland Memorial in Dallas on June 9th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. where he will be laid to rest next to his brother. Friends and family are welcome to join us to celebrate his life!
