Dear Wilma and children Pete was a dear friend and my heart sank as I heard about his death. I remember all of our good schooldays. Studying with Pete, going to class together. I remember waiting for him in the morning before school when it was late but he had to have his full breakfast before we left. Pete was a great physician, devoted to practice and family. He is an example of what a great osteopathic physician should be. The profession has suffered a great loss. He will be missed by me, and many others. God be with Pete and with his family. Wilma and Patty I am so sorry to hear about the death of Dr. Peterson. He was an extraordinatory human being and brought comfort to many of his patients. I enjoyed working with him at TOMA and will keep you both in my prayers. Blessings to you both and may in rest in peace with our Lord.

Wilma, and family, Marie and I send our sympathies and prayers for Don and all the family. As our dear friend and colleague Earl Kinzie would say "he was a good man". Don took care of my wife and two older sons while we lived in Irving and I attended TCOM. He was also one of my greater mentors as he taught me how to be an osteopathic family physician at the TCOM Central Clinic (we did the night clinic while it was still up and running). Dear Wilma, We just heard about Donald and we recall all the fun times and all of the meetings during the early years of practice. He was such a great person to be around and we know that you will all miss him so very much. To susan, Pattie, esther, and David; your dad was the greatest guy in the world. He was always available to help us with athletes when ever one was hurt. You, children, were the light of his life.
