I wanted to offer my condolences to the Porth family. As a tenant in one of the Porth apartment buildings back in the 1980’s, I still fondly remember Don and what a great person and landlord he was. He was always helpful and cheerful as well as professional, and I enjoyed knowing him and his family (and having Mary Lou as a neighbor for a while).
I am so sorry I am unable to attend today’s service but look forward to joining the family for the Memorial Service. I am so glad Becky and I were able to spend some time with Donald in September when we were in Dallas. We loved talking about when our dads built the apartments there at Knox & Abbott . Great family memories. He always called me “Danny” even though I started going by Dan in 3rd grade. I will miss him. Love to all.
I have so many wonderful memories of spending time with your family. Your mom and dad were always so nice to me and Julia and we appreciated it so much. Your dad always made me laugh! I’ll miss him!
