Donald Wayne Potts' Obituary
POTTS, DONALD WAYNE, age 76, of Crossroads, TX formerly of Jefferson City, MO passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 at his home. He was born June 3, 1945 in Newton, KS, a son of Elizabeth Mueller and Donald Potts. On February 27, 1965 he was united in marriage to Susan Welch, who proceeded him in death on January 7, 2006. He was a computer programmer over 40 years. He was a Cub Scout Leader, Webelo's leader, Soccer coach, Softball coach, Baseball coach, Indian Princesses guide, as well as an active member in the PTA making games for carnivals and, at church, taking children water skiing.
Survivors include: daughters Angela Potts of Prosper, TX; and Christina Potts of Crossroads, TX; son James (Lisa) Potts of McKinney, TX; granddaughters Melissa and Stephanie Armijo of Crossroads, TX; Caroline Potts of McKinney, TX; grandson Michael Potts of McKinney, TX; great grandsons Robert Cooper and Greyson Lopez of Crossroads, TX; adopted sisters Carolyn Hartman and Shirley (Fred) Trippensee of Jefferson City, MO; brothers Ronald Potts of Palo, IA, Randall (Debora) Potts of Lohman, MO and Ray (Janie) Potts of Jefferson City, MO; 13 nieces and 17 nephews.
