I worked with Don in the 1970/72 time frame when he received his PhD. He told me of a trip he and his wife had taken and had stopped at a few hotels, etc. on the trip. When he signed in he proudly signed in as Dr. Don Price. Early on he found he was getting really good service from the help. He later figured out the help all thought he was a Medical Doctor, and were buttering him up for a big tip to come. He told me that after that trip he used his PhD status more sparingly. Don was a very quick study. I have known a few Ph.D's in my time, but have found few to be more personable and down to earth as Don. He was well liked by all who knew him, and I never heard an unkind comment from him about anyone. He was one of the 'better' people I have ever met. Over the years I have tried to reconnect with him, but failed. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing, and knowing I will not again have the pleasure of speaking with him on so many general and specific subjects. I always enjoyed our conversation and being in his company was always a pleasure. I want to express my greatest sympathy to Don's wife and his family. Loosing a husband or family member is always a shock. Whether expected or unexpected the loss is very long lasting and their memories will never fade. As long as we keep them in our hearts they will always be with us. James (Jim) Yeary { T.I. 1969-1991} 1389 McConnell Rd. Gunter, Tx. 75058
