Donald Calvin Rousseau's Obituary
Rousseau, Donald Calvin ~ age 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011. He was born Jan 26, 1924 in Waxahachie. Don was a longtime resident of Dallas, working 50 years as an aircraft mechanic and inspector. He served briefly in the Army Air Corps before returning to care for his invalid parents. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Hilliar and Ethel, and siblings Minnie, Francis, and Cecil. Survivors: Wife of 62 years, Jeanne, now of Weatherford; son, Carl, daughter-in-law Elizabeth, and grandchildren Alyssa, Ryan, Shannon, and Ian, all of Weatherford; sisters-in-law Elizabeth Schober and Sally Jackson, both of Denton; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Charles Gibson of Weatherford, who was as close as a younger brother. Service: 3pm Friday, Wildwood Chapel, Restland Cemetery, Dallas, TX. Visitation: 6-8pm Thursday at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 972-238-7111.
