Donald Max Switzer's Obituary
SWITZER, DONALD MAX Passed away May 9, 2011. Don was born in Crawfordsville, IN on September 4, 1927 to Dallas and Gertrude Switzer. He is preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Rex, Richard and Glerye. He had a strong Christian faith and was a kind, gentle man who was a great husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn; daughter, Charyl; and sons, Steven, Philip and James; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. He was a machinist by trade for 54 years and was employed over his career by Duncan Electric, Texas Instruments and Duel Products. He also proudly served his country in the US Army from 1950 to 1952. Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Tuesday 5/10/2011 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 10am, Wednesday 5/11/2011 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mimosa Lane Baptist Church in Mesquite or a charity of choice.
