Dong Trung Nguyen's Obituary
Dong Trung Nguyen was born on September 4th, 1950 in Tra Vinh, Vietnam. He was called home to be with the Lord peacefully on July 29, 2021 in Dallas, TX at 70 years of age. He was an extremely kind and gentle soul, and will always be remembered by his jolly smile, kind heart and love for fun and adventure.
He enjoyed traveling to exotic places and going on cruise ships. He especially loved all you can eat seafood, slot machines, shopping for good deals, spending time with his family and playing with his grandkids.
Dong was a devout Catholic. He regularly attended facebook Divine Mercy praying session with his old time friends from Lasan and relived their good old times.
He is survived by his wife Phuong Nguyen. His daughter Cindy Nguyen, son in law Dung Nguyen and his four grandchildren Devin, Ayden, Max and Kendall Nguyen. He is also survived by 2 brothers (Sơn & Hoàng) and 5 sisters (Ánh, Trinh, Năng, Cúc, & Vân) and nieces and nephews and extended family who all loved him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Thursday and Friday Aug 5th and 6th, 2021, from 9:00am to 5:00pm at Restland Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Aug 7, 2021, at 10:00am at St. Peter Vietnamese Catholic Church 10123 Garland Rd. Dallas, TX
